Imagine a girl, just about your age, who had heard her whole life about the Messiah. Her religion was based on a promise from God to Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, David. There was to be a Promised One who would redeem all of humanity from their sins, Jesus!

We call the special moment in time when God became present in the world in Mary's womb, the Incarnation. It means that God took on a human body, just like you and I. It didn't make him less God, and it didn't make him less human. He was, and is, still totally God and totally human! Isn't that mind-boggling? We call it a mystery, we can never fully understand how, but we can have an idea of it in our minds.
Words to Remember:
What we learned:
An angel announced the arrival of Jesus to Mary.
Mary said yes to God's will.
Jesus became present in Mary’s womb with this 'yes'.... Please purchase this lesson to continue learning.
